If you have been hunting for the perfect gazebo for your backyard, Spa-Rite Bayswater can help you out! Our helpful team has come up with a few questions you may wish to ask yourself prior to purchasing your gazebo.

Why Buy A Gazebo?

Gazebos that include screens are an ideal way for you and the family to sit outside and not be bothered by mosquitoes, flies and other insects. They will give you a covered space away from the hot, damaging rays of the sun and allow you to be outside on cloudy, drizzly days. Gazebos are a wonderful way to give you more opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. They are also fantastic when teamed with one of our spas or swim spas – keeping your spa experience at it’s best all year round!

Where Should I Put My Spa Gazebo?

If a gazebo seems like a good idea for you and your family, it is important to know where you would like to put it! Many people choose a corner of their yard so that the gazebo does not take up too much yard space. Other people love to have their gazebo as the centrepiece in their backyard – it is primarily up to you. Be sure to consider orientation in regards to sun and wind depending on your location.

What Type Of Gazebo?

Here at Spa-Rite, our specialists have many different options for all different tastes, styles and homes. Upon speaking to one of our friendly staff, we will determine what your needs are, what styles you like and many more important aspects to decide exactly what will be suitable. Be sure to check on our website for a range of our gazebo designs and styles today!

If you are interested in knowing how to maintain your spa, and have it working to the best of its abilities at all times, Spa-Rite can help you out. Developing a handy routine is a great way to keep your spa in top shape and keep it ready to be used at any time!

1. Spa Filters

Regular maintenance of your filters is required to help keep your water crystal clear. It is recommended
to clean your filters by hose with high pressure (Not a high pressure cleaner) on a weekly basis.
Paying special attention to each fold in the cartridge to remove any debris that has been filtered from
your water. Through customer feed back, we have found that the best method is to use a water wand, which can be purchased at Spa-Rite.

It is suggested to clean your filters after 15 person hours in
your spa by soaking them in Filter Clean . Soak for a minimum of 3 DAYS .
Hose filters thoroughly with clean water after soaking, making sure to get in between each cartridge fold
to the core of the filter. This will ensure the removal of all the body oils and fats, cosmetics, lotions and
hair etc.
TIP: Why not purchase another set of filters for your spa so while the first set are soaking and cleaning,
you can place the other set in and still use your spa.

2. Spa Draining

It is often asked how regularly you should drain your spa:

The usual answer to this is, how often has the spa been used?

It is recommended to dump the water in your spa every 3 to 6 months.
However, if your spa has had higher bather load than average, or longer periods of operation, then this
may be required at an earlier time.

So what is average use and bather load?
Customer feed back: We believe this to be 2 people for a period of 20 minutes, three times a week.

3. Spa Equipment

It is very important to understand and know how your spa equipment operates. This way, you are able to maintain the spa system, and recognise when something is wrong with your spa. Know any signals your spa may have, and where to find your control panel.

4. Spa Covers

Spa covers are a great way of keeping your spa clean, keeping the heat in and keeping the children safe! They can save a lot on your electricity bill, and keep your mind at ease. If you use your spa or hot tub cover often, ensure it receives a good wash in warm soapy water, followed by a wipe down with 303 aerospace protectant once a month, to keep it fresh.

5. Spa And Chemicals

If the bath in your home was being constantly used by your family and friends with the same water in it, time and time again, how would you feel? This is the way in which to approach your spa – you don’t have to be a scientist to figure it out! Sanitizing your spa is a must - Ensure to keep your pH levels and alkalinity balanced, as this will help prolong the life of your spa’s heater.

Please read Chemical Help Sheet
